Having designed, or defined, what you consider to be the ideal person, we now come to one of the most difficult of tasks, which is to define yourself. Not as a comparison with your designer model, but as true representation of you. It requires that you stand outside of yourself to see yourself as an amalgam of what you know about yourself and how you believe others see you. It is a task that needs you to overcome your own bias towards yourself. Not an easy one

You are the only person who is going to see the finished chart, so be honest with yourself, neither indulging in wishful thinking nor giving yourself an unnecessary hard time.

You will note that this chart has two extra bins. Additions and Subtractions. When you have filled the first four bins to your satisfaction, you have the two extra bins in which to write those 'parts' of you that you wish to alter.

The purpose of this exercise is that it is preparation for the journey on which you are about to embark, travelling through time from where you are, to where you want to be. You have defined who you are now, and defined those traits that you will dump along the way, as well as the traits that you will acquire during the journey.

Although undoubtedly rewarding, travelling the map can be a lonely task. As you progress, you will come to recognise fellow Questors in the common reality. Even if you only travel part of the way in their company, you will learn from each other. As we all do.
